Global warming is gaining momentum every year, making International Earth Day more significant than ever. This event brings together millions of people worldwide to support the preservation of our planet and take concrete actions to protect it for future generations.

In line with this mission, East Gate Mall will be switching off the lights on its exterior facade from April 22 to 28 to support the Earth Day campaign. This initiative aims to conserve electrical energy and reduce our carbon footprint. Every seemingly small step is crucial in building a sustainable future for generations to come.

This year’s theme is “Planet vs. Plastic,” highlighting the staggering fact that 380 million tons of plastic are produced annually, with only 9% of it being recycled. Therefore, let’s not forget to recycle plastic, food, paper, glass, and electronic devices to minimize waste and preserve resources.
